**Updated Wednesday 30 September 2026.** **The January 2027 ODI tri-series with Ireland and Zimbabwe is set to be scrapped**: Zimbabwe are not expected to travel, and the tour is likely to become a Pakistan vs Ireland white-ball series, ESPNcricinfo reported. Next up is the **Asian Games semi-final against Bangladesh on Thursday 1 October at 5am PKT**, after rain gave Pakistan a walkover past Hong Kong.

*Earlier, Thursday 24 September:* Pakistan hosts **12 men's internationals in six weeks** this autumn, up to 10 of them involving Pakistan: three T20Is against Sri Lanka from **9 October**, an ODI tri-series with Sri Lanka and England from **18 October**, and two Tests against Sri Lanka in November. Before that, the men's team plays its **Asian Games quarter-final on Monday 28 September at 5am PKT** in Japan. New Zealand come for two Tests in March 2027.

- **Ireland, January 2027:** the planned ODI tri-series with Ireland and Zimbabwe is set to be scrapped because Zimbabwe cannot travel; a Pakistan vs Ireland white-ball series is expected instead, and a home Test against Ireland has receded ([details](/news/cricket/pakistan-vs-ireland-2027-schedule)).
- **Bangladesh away:** a five-match ODI series is being worked on, ESPNcricinfo reports.
- **Pakistan women:** three home T20Is against New Zealand and a tour of the West Indies (three ODIs, three T20Is). Dates not yet announced. The women won bronze at the Asian Games on 22 September.
