> About 247 fans want every seat for the 10 October 2027 group match in Johannesburg, and the ticket ballot stays open until 21 November.

The Pakistan vs India figure is higher than demand for the final itself, which is at the same venue and has drawn almost 8 million requests.

## World Cup 2027 ticket demand in numbers

- **8.4 million**: requests for Pakistan vs India

## How to apply from Pakistan

Tickets are allocated by ballot, not first come, first served, so applying early does not improve your chances. The ballot window **remains open until 21 November 2026**. Organisers did not publish ticket prices with the demand figures, so check the tournament's official ticketing page before applying and budget for the rand exchange rate; our [currency converter](/tools/finance/currency-converter) works out the rupee cost on the day.

A fan who wins tickets still needs a South African visa, which Pakistani passport holders must apply for in advance. Start the passport side early: our [passport fee calculator](/tools/government/passport-fee-calculator) shows the cost of a normal, urgent or fast-track renewal.

## Pakistan's World Cup 2027 schedule

The India match is one of Pakistan's group fixtures. Every Pakistan fixture, with start times in Pakistan time, is on our [World Cup 2027 schedule page](/news/cricket/cricket-world-cup-2027-schedule-pakistan-time).

Demand on this scale is normal for the fixture: Pakistan vs India matches at ICC events routinely draw the biggest ticket requests of any game in the tournament, and the ballot keeps them from selling out in minutes.
