The ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup 2027 will be played in Bangladesh and Nepal from 21 January to 6 February, and Pakistan open their campaign against South Africa in Chattogram on 22 January. The ICC released the full schedule on Wednesday: 16 teams, 41 matches and four grounds across two countries.

## Pakistan's group: South Africa, New Zealand and Samoa

Pakistan are in Group B with South Africa, New Zealand and Samoa. Their first match, against South Africa, and New Zealand's game against Samoa are both set for Chattogram on 22 January. The ICC media release names Chattogram for that day but does not list Pakistan's other two group fixtures in its summary, so check back here: we will add them when the ICC's match-by-match list is confirmed.

## Venues and match times in Pakistan time

Two grounds are in Bangladesh and two in Nepal:

- Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, Chattogram
- Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet
- TU International Cricket Stadium, Kathmandu
- Upper Mulpani International Cricket Ground, Kathmandu

Morning matches start at 09:30 local time and afternoon matches at 13:30 local time. Bangladesh is one hour ahead of Pakistan and Nepal is 45 minutes ahead, so:

- A morning game in Chattogram or Sylhet starts at **8:30am PKT**, an afternoon game at **12:30pm PKT**.
- A morning game in Kathmandu starts at **9:15am PKT**, an afternoon game at **1:15pm PKT**.

## How the tournament works

The group stage runs until 26 January. The teams that go through move into a Super Six round split into two groups, and the top two in each Super Six group reach the semi-finals. Both semi-finals are on 4 February in Chattogram, with 5 February as a reserve day. The final is on 6 February at 13:30 local time, with a reserve day on 7 February.

The tournament opens on 21 January with hosts Bangladesh against the UAE, Australia against Nigeria in Sylhet, and Sri Lanka against Scotland and England against the USA at Upper Mulpani in Kathmandu. Co-hosts Nepal play Ireland and India meet the West Indies in Kathmandu on 22 January.

ICC chief executive Sanjog Gupta said the event "showcases the future of our sport" and pointed to the hosts' young populations: nearly 40% of people in the two countries are under 20, according to the ICC. ESPNcricinfo also reported the schedule.
