Two more Khyber Pakhtunkhwa boards cleared their intermediate results on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. BISE Mardan put the HSSC Annual-I result online at 4:30pm, and BISE Bannu released its HSSC Part I and Part II results at around 11:00am.

Both boards are marking under the new IBCC framework, so the number on your DMC means something different from last year. Read the grading section below before you decide whether to apply for re-totalling.

## BISE Mardan 11th class result 2026

The Mardan board announced the HSSC Annual-I Examination 2026 result for Part I on Tuesday at 4:30pm through bisemdn.edu.pk. The position holders' ceremony was held earlier the same day at 2:30pm in the board auditorium.

To check: open bisemdn.edu.pk, go to the results section, pick HSSC Part-I (Annual-I 2026), enter your roll number and submit. The announcement covers both Part I and Part II candidates, so select the correct part before you search, or the portal will return nothing.

Regular candidates collect their DMC through their own college. Private candidates get theirs from 29 September 2026. The full result gazette is available for Rs 500, a fee charged for the gazette itself and not tied to any position-holder award.

## BISE Bannu HSSC result 2026

BISE Bannu released Class 11 and Class 12 Annual-I results at roughly 11:00am on Tuesday. Check at biseb.edu.pk by entering your roll number in the results tab.

Board portals fall over on result day, so keep the SMS route ready: send your roll number to 9818 and the marks come back by text. Institutions can download the result gazette in bulk to verify their own students.

Bannu is accepting re-totalling applications through its online portal for 15 days from the announcement. Miss that window and the marks stand.

## The grading rules changed

BISE Bannu is applying the IBCC framework that KP boards have moved to this year, and it changes three things students keep getting wrong.

The pass mark is now 40 per cent, up from 33. Grading runs on a 10-point scale from A++ down to U. And the word "Fail" has been removed from certificates entirely, replaced with "U" for Unsatisfactory.

So a DMC showing U is not a clerical error and not a withheld result. It is the new label for marks below the pass line, and the candidate goes to the supplementary exam as before.

## What to do next

If your total looks wrong, count the subject marks yourself against the DMC before paying a re-totalling fee. Re-totalling re-adds the marks on the answer sheet; it does not re-mark your answers, so it only helps when the arithmetic or a missed page is the problem.
