BISE Peshawar announced 11th and 12th class (HSSC Part I and Part II) results at 12:30pm. BISE Abbottabad declared its HSSC Annual-I result at 2pm. If you sat FA, FSc, ICS or ICom under either board, the result is live now. Here is exactly where to look. ## BISE Peshawar: portal and SMS The official result portal is **cloud.bisep.edu.pk**. Enter your examination roll number and submit. The board also runs an SMS service: send **BISEP (space) your roll number to 8583**. Standard message charges apply, so a single check costs you a couple of rupees on a prepaid connection. Online results went live from 3pm on the announcement day. If the portal is slow in the first hour, that is load, not a failure. Try again rather than handing your roll number to a third-party site. BISE Peshawar covers Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Khyber and the surrounding districts. ## BISE Abbottabad: portal, e-DMC and printed copies BISE Abbottabad publishes at **biseatd.edu.pk**. Enter the roll number for the HSSC Annual-I result. Electronic detailed marks certificates (e-DMCs) opened at 5pm on Monday. Printed copies go to colleges from **23 September**, so if you need a stamped DMC for an admission file, collect it from your institution from Wednesday, not from the board office. The Abbottabad board serves six districts: Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Battagram, Kohistan and Torghar. ## The 40 percent pass mark Both results are graded under the Inter Boards Coordination Commission framework that sets the passing benchmark at **40 percent**. That is the same revised SSC and HSSC grading rule the boards have been applying this cycle, and it is why a mark in the low 40s now clears where it once would not have. ## What to do if the marks look wrong Every board runs a rechecking process, not a re-marking one. Rechecking confirms that every question was marked and the totals were added correctly. It does not re-assess your answers. Applications carry a per-paper fee and a short deadline, usually inside two to three weeks of the announcement, so check the notification on your board's site the same week rather than after admissions open. Keep the roll number slip. You need it for rechecking, for the e-DMC, and for most university admission portals. ## Next steps for Part II students If this is your HSSC Part II result, university admissions are the next deadline. Merit at most public universities is built on a weighted formula, and the intermediate marks usually carry 40 to 50 percent of it, with an entry test making up the rest.
