Investigating the case drags him into conflicting witness statements, bribes and a conspiracy that reaches beyond India. Neeraj Pandey, whose company is behind the Special 26 and Baby films and the Special Ops series, produced it.

Bajpayee has described the story as one flawed man's journey that does not stand for any caste, religion or community.

## Why the title changed

The film was first announced as *Ghooskhor Pandat*.
