## Who is coming back

No cast has been announced. Murphy has said he contacted about **ten members of the original cast** and that they were enthusiastic, Geektown reported. The original ensemble included Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley and Darren Criss. Colfer joked earlier that fans "would probably come after me with pitchforks and jazz hands" if he said no, in comments first given to Bustle.

The reboot will go ahead without three of the original stars: Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) died in 2013, Mark Salling (Puck) in 2018 and Naya Rivera (Santana) in 2020.

## Why now

Disney says Glee's music still draws about **four million monthly listeners on Spotify**, and Murphy said in July that the show was finding a younger audience on streaming. No storyline, episode count or premiere date has been announced.
