## Foreign medical graduates: new committee

In a separate decision reported the same day, the Punjab Health Department formed a **nine-member committee** of medical university vice-chancellors and medical college principals to set up a merit-based and transparent system for house jobs and postgraduate training for doctors who graduated abroad. No timeline for its recommendations was given.
