Traffic heading for **Guru Mandir and MA Jinnah Road** from the closed stretch must also use other routes; the police did not name a single alternative, so expect officers at each point to direct you.

## What to expect

- **Police at every diversion point.** The spokesperson said personnel will be posted at all of them and asked drivers to follow their directions.
- **Slower mornings and evenings around Garden and Lyari.** Orange Street, Lalu Line Road and Aga Khan III Road will carry traffic that used to go straight down Nishtar Road, so allow extra time at school and office hours.
- **Heavy vehicles kept away.** Trucks and goods vehicles from Bara Board are being sent north through Nazimabad and Gulbahar instead of through the work zone.

## The flyover projects

The four flyovers on Nishtar Road, Lalu Line, Garden Road and Aga Khan III Road are meant to ease the jams around Garden, Lyari and the approaches to Saddar and MA Jinnah Road once they are finished.
