## Bayern vs Arsenal: team news

Both sides arrive with absences, according to Goal's match preview. Bayern are without Jamal Musiala through injury, and Michael Olise is suspended. Arsenal are missing William Saliba, Piero Hincapie and Christos Tzolis, all injured.

Arsenal have the better start in the new league phase, with six points from two wins. Bayern have four points from a win and a draw. In all competitions, Bayern are unbeaten in their last five (three wins, two draws), while Arsenal have won four of their last five, the loss coming 3-0 at Brighton in September.

Goal's predicted line-ups have both teams in a 4-2-3-1, with Harry Kane leading Bayern's attack and Kai Havertz up front for Arsenal.

## Manchester United in Italy

Manchester United's trip to Como is one of the night's two early games. In the 36-team league phase, only the top eight go straight into the last 16, so every point counts from here.

## Tuesday's results

Matchday 3 began on Tuesday, when Paris Saint-Germain beat Barcelona 4-2, Manchester City thrashed AEK Athens 5-1 and Liverpool edged Villarreal 4-3. PSG paid a price: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia tore his right ACL in the win.
