**Google has expanded ads inside its AI-generated search answers to Pakistan and nine other countries,** ARY News reported on Friday 30 October. The ads appear within answers written by Google's Gemini model, which reads the question, writes a reply and adds relevant product suggestions marked as "sponsored".

## The ten new countries

Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, **Pakistan**, the Philippines and Singapore. Brazil, Mexico and the United Kingdom are due later in 2026, the report said, after earlier tests of sponsored content.

In the US, Google is also adding "multi-turn" ads that stay visible as a user asks follow-up questions in the same conversation. Shashi Thakur, the executive in charge of the ads, said Google would keep testing new formats, according to ARY.
