# Pak ID app 5.8.0: family digital IDs, B-Form QR check and Umrah vaccine verification

NADRA has released **version 5.8.0 of the Pak ID app** with three new features: **digital ID cards for your family**, a **QR scanner to verify B-Forms and cancellation certificates**, and **biometric verification of Hajj and Umrah vaccinations**, ProPakistani and ARY News reported on Saturday 26 September 2026. NADRA has asked users to update the app to get them.

## The three new features

### 1. Digital ID cards for your spouse and children

You can now obtain, store and share the **digital identity cards of your spouse and eligible children** inside your own Pak ID account, alongside your own card. For a family that keeps losing track of whose CNIC copy is where, this means one phone can show every card when a school, bank or hospital asks.

### 2. Scan a QR code to verify a B-Form or cancellation certificate

A new **"Scan QR Code"** option reads the QR code printed on a **Child Registration Certificate (B-Form)** or an **Identity Card Cancellation Certificate** and shows the verified record from NADRA. Use it before you accept a B-Form for school admission or a passport application, or when you need proof that an old CNIC was cancelled.

### 3. Hajj and Umrah vaccination verification

The app now handles **biometric verification of the influenza and meningitis vaccinations** that pilgrims need for Hajj and Umrah. If you are going on Umrah this winter, get vaccinated at an authorised centre first, then complete the verification in the app.

## How to update

1. Open the **Google Play Store** or **Apple App Store** and search "Pak ID".
2. Tap **Update**, and check that the version is **5.8.0** or later.
3. Log in with your registered mobile number and complete face verification if the app asks.

NADRA's announcement mentioned no new fees for these features. ## Watch out for fakes

Only download Pak ID from the official app stores.
