# Pakistan IT exports hit $435 million in September, $2 million short of the monthly record

**Pakistan's IT exports** reached **$435 million in September 2026**, the second-highest monthly figure on record, Khurram Schehzad, adviser to the finance minister, said on Friday, as [reported by Business Recorder](https://www.brecorder.com/news/40444566/pakistans-it-exports-hit-435mn-in-september-second-highest-ever). The record remains **$437 million**, set in December 2025.

## Why it matters

IT and tech services are one of the few export lines growing in double digits while the import bill rises.
