> S26 Ultra cases will not fit. Samsung has not announced the phone; here is what the leak shows and what it means for buyers in Pakistan.

**A dummy unit of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra, built from leaked CAD files, shows a redesigned camera island with one fewer camera than the Galaxy S26 Ultra**, [GSMArena reported](https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s27_ultra_dummy_unit-news-75322.php). The same source leaked CAD-based renders in August. Samsung has not announced the phone, and a dummy is a case-maker's model with no screen, battery or parts inside, so treat this as a leak, not a launch.

"Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra dummy unit" was among the top searches in Pakistan on Google Trends this week.

## Galaxy S27 Ultra dummy vs S26 Ultra

| | S27 Ultra (dummy) | S26 Ultra |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Height | 163.76mm | 163.6mm |
| Width | 78.25mm | 78.1mm |
| Thickness | 7.97mm | 7.9mm |
| Rear cameras | one fewer, in a new island | current layout |
| S Pen slot | yes | yes |

## What the leak shows

- **New camera island.** It carries one camera fewer than the S26 Ultra. GSMArena says it may remind people of the iPhone 18 Pro.
- **Room for magnets.** The layout leaves space for magnets, which could let MagSafe-style accessories attach properly, and should reduce wobbling when the phone lies flat on a table.
- **Familiar frame.** Centre punch-hole selfie camera, power and volume keys on the right, USB-C, SIM tray, speaker and the S Pen slot at the bottom.
- **New cases needed.** S26 Ultra cases do not fit, even though the camera positions barely change.

Case companies get these details early so they can design cases in time for launch, and some makers send dummy units themselves.

## For buyers in Pakistan

Samsung has given no launch date or price. If you are deciding between buying an S26 Ultra now or waiting, the dimensions barely change; the camera rethink is the main reason to wait. Current Samsung prices are on our [Samsung price list](/prices/mobiles), and if you plan to bring a phone from abroad, the [PTA mobile tax calculator](/tools/telecom/pta-mobile-tax-calculator) shows the tax you will pay to register it.
