Each component is converted to a percentage of its own total, multiplied by its weight, and the three are added. The MDCAT itself, per the 2025-26 Uniform Curriculum, has 180 MCQs with no negative marking, and a candidate needs 55% for medical and 50% for dental colleges to be eligible at all.
