Assistants, Computer Operators, Stenographers and Junior Clerks, District Judiciary Abbottabad, Abbottabad
District Judiciary Abbottabad is hiring court staff for posts in the district. Testing is handled by ETEA (project code 815). Men and women who are permanent residents of Abbottabad district and meet the requirements can apply.
Posts and numbers
- Assistant (BPS-16): 2 merit posts. You need a Bachelor's degree from any recognised university.
- Computer Operator (BPS-16): 3 open merit posts plus quota seats, including one for disabled persons. You need an MSc, BIT or BS in Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Junior Scale Stenographer (BPS-14): 9 merit posts and 1 minority post. You need Intermediate, shorthand at 50 words per minute, English typing at 35 words per minute and MS Office skills. In districts where Urdu typing is used, Urdu typing at 30 words per minute is also required.
- Junior Clerk (BPS-11): 7 merit posts, 1 minority post and 1 post for women. You need SSC (Matric) or equivalent and typing at 30 words per minute.
Age: 18 to 30 years, counted on 1 January 2026, with upper age relaxation under the rules.
How to apply
- Visit the ETEA website, create your profile and fill in the online form.
- Print the deposit slip the portal generates. It shows your token number and project code.
- Pay the non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa or at any UBL branch. The advertisement does not state the amount.
- Keep the stamped deposit slip. Do not send documents to ETEA unless asked.
- Government employees must provide an NOC. A foreign degree needs an HEC equivalence certificate.
- ETEA will send you an SMS when your roll number slip is ready to download.
Selection starts with the ETEA screening test, followed by document checks and an interview. No travel allowance is paid.
The online form opened on 10 September 2026. The last date to apply is 10 October 2026.
