Assistants, Computer Operators, Stenotypists and Junior Clerks, District Courts Peshawar, Peshawar
The District and Sessions Judge, Peshawar is recruiting 36 staff for the district courts. Testing is handled by ETEA (project code 844). Only permanent residents of Peshawar district who hold a Peshawar domicile can apply.
Posts, numbers and qualifications
- Assistant (BPS-16): 2 merit posts. You need a BA, BSc or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
- Computer Operator (BPS-16): 7 posts: 5 merit, 1 women and 1 minority. You need an MSc (Computer Science), BCS, BIT or BS, or an equivalent qualification.
- Stenotypist (BPS-14): 14 posts: 9 merit, 2 women, 2 minority and 1 disabled. You need Intermediate, shorthand at 50 words per minute and English typing at 35 words per minute. MS Office skills get preference.
- Junior Clerk (BPS-11): 13 posts: 9 merit, 2 women, 1 minority and 1 disabled. You need Matric and typing at 30 words per minute. Computer skills get preference.
Age: 18 to 30 years, counted on 1 January 2026, with upper age relaxation under the rules.
How to apply
- Open the ETEA website, create your profile and fill in the online form.
- After you submit, the portal gives you a deposit slip with a token number.
- Pay the non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa or at any UBL or Omni branch. The advertisement does not state the amount.
- Keep the stamped deposit slip. Do not post documents unless ETEA asks for them.
- If you are a government employee, upload your department's NOC.
- Roll number slips and test details will come by SMS from ETEA Peshawar. Keep the same mobile number until recruitment ends.
People who pass the ETEA test will then take a written, practical or oral test. Those dates will be announced on the court's website. No travel allowance is paid. You must show original documents at the interview.
Online registration runs from 15 September 2026 to 15 October 2026.
