National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) is a public medical university based in Rawalpindi, with affiliated institutions in all four provinces. Its network includes medical, dental, nursing and veterinary colleges, postgraduate institutes, allied health schools and many teaching hospitals. AM College, the AFPGMI College of Nursing and KHINAMS are among its constituent colleges. On campus, departments cover biological sciences, public health, health professions education, nutrition and dietetics, biotechnology, molecular biology and genetics, microbiology and immunology, and psychology. Programmes run from associate degrees and diplomas up to postgraduate degrees. NUMS also runs research centres, including a clinical trials unit and a bioequivalence centre. It holds its own MDCAT for MBBS and BDS admission, and merit lists and admission notices are posted on the website.
