Sohail University is a private university in Karachi set up under the S.M. Sohail Trust by an act of the Sindh Assembly passed in May 2018. Its oldest constituent is Jinnah Medical and Dental College (JMDC, 1998-99), which teaches MBBS and BDS, alongside Jinnah College of Nursing (2009), Jinnah College of Pharmacy and Jinnah College of Rehabilitation Sciences. Beyond health sciences it runs a School of Computing and Information Sciences, the Jinnah School of Business, Commerce and Economics (including an MBA admitted through the GAT General test), departments of biomedical sciences, development studies and Pakistan studies, and MS, MPhil and PhD programmes. Students train at Sohail Trust Hospital, Medicare Cardiac and General Hospital and LRBT. The main campus is at 22-23 Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Karachi, with further campuses in Korangi and at Medicare.
