Advisor (Water Supply, Irrigation and Drainage), WAPDA, Lahore
WAPDA is hiring one Advisor (Water Supply, Irrigation and Drainage) Projects, posted in Lahore, under advertisement PRD(L)/WAPDA/085(2026-27).
The role
The Advisor will counsel the Authority on the K-IV project, Water Conduction to Islamabad, CRBC (LCG) and drainage projects of the Lower Indus Basin. The work covers project progress, schedule, cost and quality, contract compliance, claims and variations, risk mitigation, and dispute avoidance.
Who qualifies
- B.Sc. Civil Engineering from a PEC / HEC-recognised university.
- At least 30 years in civil engineering (irrigation / drainage projects), including specialised experience building bulk water supply projects with pressurised large-diameter pipelines and pumping stations.
- Maximum age 62. Open merit.
- People removed from service on disciplinary grounds, dismissed, or debarred cannot apply.
Pay and tenure
The post is a one-year contract on a lump-sum pay package, extendable on performance. WAPDA describes the package only as "competitive market based", so no BPS scale or salary figure is published. The post will not be regularised.
