Doctors, nurses, technologists and support staff (15 positions), NICVD, Karachi

The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Rafiqui (H.J.) Shaheed Road, Karachi, has advertised 15 contract positions. The advertisement was posted on the National Testing Service (NTS) site on 28 September 2026. All positions fall under the Sindh regional quota.

The positions

• Medical faculty and consultants: Consultant Interventional Radiologist (FCPS Interventional Radiology or equivalent, 3 years post-qualification, age up to 40); Assistant Professor and Senior Registrar, Paeds Cardiac Critical Care / Emergency Services; Senior Registrar, Cardiac Imaging; Senior Registrar, Paeds Cardiac Surgery (age up to 35, qualifications as per PM&DC rules).
• Nursing: Staff Nurse (B.ScN Generic, Post RN B.ScN, or Diploma in General Nursing with one-year specialisation, 1 year hospital experience and a valid licence, age up to 28); Trainee Staff Nurse (fresh B.ScN Generic with a valid PNC licence, age up to 25).
• Allied health: Echo Technologist, Echo Technician, CSSD Technician, Surgical Assistant, Dietitian (BS Food Sciences, 3 years) and Radiation Protection Officer (M.Sc Physics, 3 years, PNRA-certified RPO preferred). Age limit 28.
• Support: Multimedia Specialist (BS Media Science, 2 years) and Junior Assistant Human Resources (graduate, 2 years in HR).

Pay

All posts are on contract. The advertisement does not state a BPS scale or salary.
