The College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences, King Edward Medical University (KEMU) / Mayo Hospital, Lahore is hiring three Junior Ophthalmic Technicians (BPS-9) on contract under the Punjab Contract Appointment Policy, initially for three years, extendable on good performance. The advertisement is from the Punjab Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department and is run through NTS.
Who can apply: men and women with a Punjab domicile, aged 18 to 25 (age relaxation under Punjab government rules). Qualification: FSc (second division) with a diploma in the relevant Allied Health Sciences discipline recognised by the Punjab Medical Faculty; if no such candidate is found, Matric (second division) in science with a two-year diploma in the relevant discipline. Candidates need at least 50% marks in the NTS test to be shortlisted for interview. Serving government employees apply through proper channel.
How to apply: online at nts.org.pk, then send the printed form with two attested copies of certificates, CNIC, domicile and four photos to NTS. Test fee Rs 450 plus Rs 10 service charges. No TA/DA for the test or interview.
