Sub-Engineers, Assistant Drivers, ASM and technicians (97 posts), Pakistan Railways, Balochistan quota

Pakistan Railways Headquarters has advertised 97 skilled contract posts in BPS-5 to BPS-14 for Balochistan-domiciled candidates on the National Jobs Portal (NJP), posted on 28 October 2026. The closing date is 11 November 2026.

Posts and qualifications

• Assistant Driver, BPS-9: 34 posts. Matric 2nd division with a three-year diploma in mechanical from a recognised government institute, or FSc (Pre-Engineering) or ICS, 2nd division.
• Sub-Engineers, BPS-11: 20 posts across Mechanical (8), Signal (3), Electrical (3), Telecom (2), Civil (2) and Drawing (2). Matric 2nd division with science plus a three-year DAE in the relevant technology.
• Assistant Station Master (ASM) Grade-I, BPS-14: 4 posts. BA or BSc 2nd division from an HEC-recognised institution and a six-month computer course. Women can apply.
• LDC/General Administration, BPS-11: 4 posts.
• Trades, BPS-5 to BPS-8: Diesel Fitter Mechanical (11), Diesel Wireman Electrician Loco (10), Electrical Examiner (5), Technician Telecom (2), plus single posts of welder, carpenter, fitter, wireman, X-ray assistant, nurse daya, store issuer and pipe fitter.

Eligibility

Balochistan domicile. The NJP pages give a maximum age of 35.
