The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) is recruiting 105 Agriculture Officers / Research Officers (BPS-17) for the Agriculture Extension Wing of the Agriculture and Cooperatives Department, under Consolidated Advertisement No. 07/2026. The seats are split by zone: Merit 17, Kalat 17, Zhob 11, Nasirabad 11, Mekran 12, Quetta 11, Sibi 5 and Quetta City 5. Within these, 5 are reserved for persons with disabilities, 5 for women and 6 for minorities.

Who can apply

• A Master's degree in Agriculture, at least second division, or a four-year Bachelor's (Honours) in Agriculture, at least second division, from a recognised university.
• Upper age limit 28 years on the closing date, with the general relaxation the Balochistan government allows for fresh candidates, and up to 50 years for government servants with two years of continuous regular service. Check your age on the closing date with our age calculator.
• Men and women can both apply. You need the domicile or local certificate of your district (a married woman not in government service uses her husband's).

Fee and how to apply

1. Apply online only, at bpsc.gob.pk. No hard copy is needed.
2. Pay the Rs 800 fee for BPS-17 posts through a PSID on any 1Link channel: mobile banking (EasyPaisa, JazzCash), ATMs, internet banking or over the counter at a 1Link member bank.
3. Keep your original CNIC for the test, along with the admission slip, which BPSC posts on its website and announces by SMS.

Test

An MCQ test in the relevant subject, followed by an interview covering current affairs, general knowledge, Islamic studies and Pakistan studies.

Closing date

The original deadline was 14 October 2026. BPSC's addendum No. PSC/(RB)/2026/2509 of 2 November 2026 extended it to 17 November 2026 for this post. If you already applied, you do not need to apply again.
