The Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) has 3 posts of Assistant Engineer (BPS-17) in the Divisional Directorates of Development (field offices) of the Planning and Development Department, under Consolidated Advertisement No. 07/2026: 2 on open merit (all Balochistan) and 1 for the Kalat zone.

Who can apply

• A degree in B.Arch or BE (Civil Engineering), at least second class, from a recognised university, with registration with PCATP or the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Age 21 to 28 years on the closing date, with the general relaxation the Balochistan government allows for fresh candidates, and up to 50 years for government servants with two years of continuous regular service. Our age calculator works out your age on 17 November.
• Men and women can both apply, with the domicile or local certificate of the district you apply against.

Fee and how to apply

1. Apply online at bpsc.gob.pk; BPSC accepts no paper applications for BPS-16 and above.
2. Pay the Rs 800 fee (BPS-16 and 17) through a 1Link PSID: EasyPaisa, JazzCash or another banking app, an ATM, internet banking or the counter of a 1Link member bank.
3. Bring your original CNIC and the downloaded admission slip to the test.

Test

An MCQ test in the relevant subject, then a viva voce on current affairs, general knowledge, Islamic studies and Pakistan studies.

Closing date

First advertised with a 14 October 2026 deadline, the post was reopened by BPSC's addendum No. PSC/(RB)/2026/2509 of 2 November 2026 until 17 November 2026. Candidates who already applied need not apply again.
