BPSC has advertised 32 posts of Sub-Engineer (BPS-11) in the Local Government and Rural Development Department, Balochistan, in Consolidated Advertisement No. 09/2026.

Where the posts are

Merit 5, Kalat zone 5, Zhob 4, Nasirabad 4, Mekran 4, Quetta zone 3, Sibi 2 and Quetta City 2, plus one post each for the disabled, women and minority quotas.

Who qualifies

A three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil Technology from a recognised institute. Men and women are both eligible and must hold the domicile or local certificate of their district. Age limit is 18 to 28 years on the closing date, plus the general age relaxation allowed by the Government of Balochistan; government servants with two years of continuous regular service can apply up to 50. Persons with disabilities and legal heirs of shuhada also get the relaxation.

Pay and selection

The post is in BPS-11; no salary figure is given in the advertisement. Candidates sit an MCQ test in civil technology, followed by a viva voce.
