Deputy Director (Financial Analyst), PPS-9, Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Islamabad

Pakistan Railways is hiring one Deputy Director (Financial Analyst) at PPS-9 for its headquarters office, on contract, advertised on the National Jobs Portal on 16 October 2026.

The job: financial modelling of Pakistan Railways and its development projects, scenario analysis, setting standard costs, comparing results with plans and forecasts, guiding cost analysis and keeping cost and performance databases.

Who qualifies:

• MS Finance, MSc Economics, ACCA or CA, or a related discipline (16 years of education, HEC-recognised degrees)
• At least 7 years' post-qualification experience, including 2 years of financial modelling of projects
• Age up to 45; government employees apply through proper channel with an NOC

Terms: contract for two years or until the project ends, extendable on performance; posting anywhere in Pakistan. Pay package and detailed terms of reference are on railways.gov.pk and pakrail.gov.pk. No TA/DA for test or interview; only shortlisted candidates are called.
