FAST-NUCES (National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences) is hiring faculty at its Islamabad campus on a full-time or contract basis. Applicants need a PhD, MS, MBA or BS from a reputable university, depending on the post.

Posts by department:

• Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering): assistant professors, lecturers and instructors. Streams include databases, game development and graphics, high performance and cloud computing, and robotics.
• Electrical Engineering: lecturer and lab engineer (electronics, computer or embedded systems; PEC registered). Computer Engineering: lecturer (registered as COMP with PEC).
• School of Management: professors, associate and assistant professors (PhD) and lecturers (MS or MBA) in business analytics and fintech technology subjects, management sciences, and accounting and finance including Islamic finance. Adjunct and visiting posts are open to industry professionals.
• Sciences and Humanities: English instructor.

Perks: market competitive salary (no figure stated), provident fund, EOBI, hospitalisation and group life insurance, in-house day care and medical centre. Appointments follow HEC criteria, and only shortlisted applicants are called for a test and interview. Part-time work, apprenticeships and internships do not count as experience.
