FAST-NUCES (National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences) is hiring faculty at its Karachi campus on a full-time or contract basis. Applicants need a PhD, MS, MBA or BS from a reputable university, depending on the post.

Posts by department:

• Computer Science: professor, associate professor, assistant professor and lecturer.
• Cyber Security: lecturer and instructor. Software Engineering: assistant professor and lecturer. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science: assistant professor, senior lecturer, lecturer and instructor. Streams include agentic and generative AI, computer vision, data engineering, DevOps, big data and cloud computing, and compiler construction.
• School of Management Sciences: assistant professors, lecturers and instructors for programming, machine learning, databases and blockchain in the business analytics and fintech programmes, and for econometrics, accounting and finance, HR, marketing, Islamic banking and business analytics.
• Sciences and Humanities: Physics lecturer, and English lecturer or lab instructor.

Perks: market competitive salary (no figure stated), provident fund, EOBI, hospitalisation and group life insurance, in-house day care and medical centre. Appointments follow HEC criteria, and only shortlisted applicants are called for a test and interview. Part-time work, apprenticeships and internships do not count as experience.
