KP e-Fard portal: get your land fard on the Dastak app or at e-Sahulat, with QR check
CM Sohail Afridi launched the e-Fard service on 2 October. Fards now come with NADRA biometric checks, online payment by 1LINK or Easypaisa, and a QR code anyone can verify.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa landowners can now get a fard (the official record of rights, or jamabandi extract, that shows who owns a piece of land and how much) without visiting a patwari. Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi launched the e-Fard service in Peshawar on 2 October 2026, along with a phone-based feedback system that lets citizens rate revenue offices.
The fard is the document you need to sell, buy, mortgage or inherit land, to apply for a bank loan against property, and in many court cases. Until now it usually meant a trip to the patwar khana or a tehsil service centre, and often an informal payment to get it on time.
Three ways to get an e-Fard
According to the provincial government's announcement, reported by the state news agency APP, the fard is available through three channels:
- NADRA e-Sahulat centres, the franchise counters found in most bazaars.
- The self-service website, efardpeshawar.kp.gov.pk.
- The Dastak app, the KP government app already used for arms licences.
Note: as of 3 October 2026 the website itself shows a notice that downloading the e-Fard "has now been shifted to the Dastak App", and links to dastak.kp.gov.pk. If you are using a phone, go straight to the app.
What you need
- Biometric verification through NADRA. The owner's identity is confirmed with fingerprints, so keep your CNIC with you and use the phone number registered in your name.
- Online payment. The fee is paid electronically through 1LINK or Easypaisa. The government has not published the fee schedule with the launch; the app shows it before you pay.
- The land details (district, tehsil, mauza and khewat or khasra number) speed up the search. They are printed on any old fard or registry deed.
Once paid, the fard stays in your account and can be downloaded again. Each copy carries a QR code that anyone, such as a buyer, bank or court, can scan to check it against the central land record.
The feedback calls
After a revenue service, citizens will get a random phone call asking them to rate it in one of four satisfaction levels. Complaints go to the deputy commissioner's dashboard and the ratings are reviewed in monthly meetings, the government said. "Provision of easy, transparent and speedy services to people at their doorstep is the government's priority," Afridi said at the launch.
Before you buy land in KP
A QR-verified fard confirms the record, not the deal. Before you pay, check that the seller's name, share and khasra numbers match the fard, and work out the transfer costs with our stamp duty calculator and property tax calculator. For plot sizes in marla and kanal, use the plot size converter.

Frequently asked questions
- How can I get a fard online in KP?
- Through the Dastak app (dastak.kp.gov.pk), the efardpeshawar.kp.gov.pk website (which now points to the app) or a NADRA e-Sahulat centre, after NADRA biometric verification and an online fee payment by 1LINK or Easypaisa.
- How do I check that a KP fard is genuine?
- Every e-Fard carries a QR code. Scanning it checks the document against the province's central land record.
