Pakistan Consulate Jeddah: NADRA and passport by online appointment only from 1 October

From Thursday, 1 October 2026, the Pakistan Consulate General in Jeddah will stop taking walk-ins for NADRA and passport work. Every NADRA and machine-readable passport (MRP) application will need an appointment booked online first. Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani announced the change on 24 September; bookings opened on 20 September.

What changes on 1 October

• Covered services: all NADRA services (CNIC, NICOP, renewals, modifications, family registration) and machine-readable passport applications and renewals.
• No walk-ins: from 1 October these services are "exclusively on an appointment basis". Turning up without a booking will not get you served.
• Booking site: appointment.parepjeddah.org.
• Tracking: after booking you get an SMS with a tracking ID to follow your appointment and application.

The consulate says the system is meant to cut the long queues and crowding at its building in Jeddah. If you live in the city or travel in for consular work, this is the step to take before you set out.

How to book an appointment

1. Open appointment.parepjeddah.org on your phone or computer.
2. Choose the service: NADRA or passport.
3. Fill in the details the form asks for, and give a Saudi mobile number you can receive SMS on.
4. Pick an open date and time slot, then confirm.
5. Keep the SMS with your tracking ID and arrive on time with your original CNIC or NICOP, your current passport if you are renewing, and any papers the service needs.

Book early if your passport or iqama renewal is close. With walk-ins ending, slots in the first weeks of October are likely to fill fast.
