Watching from Pakistan
Belfast is on BST until Sunday 25 October, four hours behind Pakistan, so a 1pm session in the Northern Ireland Open starts at 5pm PKT and a 7pm evening session at 11pm PKT. The clocks go back on the final day, so the final's evening session starts at midnight in Karachi. The Chinese events are the other way: China is UTC+8, three hours ahead, so afternoon sessions there land in the late morning here.
Prize money on the tour is paid in pounds. With sterling at about Rs 370.73, the UK Championship's headline cheque converts to a very different rupee number than it did a year ago. Our pound rate page tracks that daily, and the currency converter does the arithmetic.
