Independent Procurement Experts, Public Procurement Regulatory Authority, Pakistan

PPRA is building a panel of Independent Procurement Experts to be assigned to federal procuring agencies. This is panel registration rather than a single post, so there is no fixed number of vacancies.

Who qualifies

• Minimum 16 years of formal education
• A professional certification in a relevant discipline: procurement, engineering, IT, law, health sciences, environment, business, agriculture or a related field, from a recognised body
• Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience
• Preference for candidates with procurement, contract management or supply chain experience

How you are paid

This is assignment based. PPRA states that remuneration is paid by the borrowing procuring agency, not by PPRA itself, so the fee is set per assignment rather than as a salary.

Why it is worth registering

Federal procuring agencies are required to bring in independent experts for evaluation committees on larger tenders. Getting onto the panel is how retired engineers, lawyers and supply chain professionals pick up paid public sector assignments without a full time post.
