Lady Searcher (BPS-08), 22 posts, WAPDA Security Directorate, Lahore

WAPDA's Security Directorate is hiring 22 Lady Searchers in BPS-08 for its projects across Pakistan (advertisement PRD(L)/WAPDA/081(2026-27)). Women selected can be posted to any WAPDA project in the country.

Who can apply

• Women only.
• Education: Matric.
• Experience: at least 5 years of security work in a government or semi-government body, or a registered private company.
• Age: up to 30 years.
• Preference goes to candidates who have already worked as a Lady Searcher in a government or semi-government organisation.

Terms

• One year of probation first. The job becomes permanent if work during probation is satisfactory; it can be ended without notice if it is not.
• Selection is by written test, then interview and medical test, on merit. No TA/DA is paid for the test or interview.
• The advertisement does not state the pay beyond the BPS-08 scale.

How to apply

1. Pay a Rs 300 test fee on the prescribed bank challan at any National Bank of Pakistan branch, into the WAPDA general account in the name of DG Finance (B&C) WAPDA (account details are on the advertisement).
2. Send an application by post with your current address, mobile number, a recent passport-size photo, and attested copies of your CNIC, educational certificates and experience certificates, plus the fee receipt.
