Medical Officer and Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17), Home Department Sindh via SPSC

The Sindh Public Service Commission is hiring 36 doctors for the Home Department, Government of Sindh, under Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2026, dated 25 September 2026.

• Medical Officer (BPS-17), Male: 32 posts. 28 are open merit, 2 are for differently abled persons and 2 are for minorities. The split is 19 rural and 13 urban.
• Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17): 4 posts, all open merit.

Who qualifies: an MBBS from an HEC-recognised university, registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, and a completed one-year house job. The age limit is 21 to 28, with general age relaxation under the Sindh government notification of 06.03.2025.

How to apply: register on www.spsc.gov.pk and apply through the "Available Jobs" section. Manual applications are not accepted. Generate a PSID and pay the Rs 500 challan through any online payment channel. Candidates already in government service should apply through proper channel.

Closing date: 23 October 2026. The portal stays open until 5:00 PM on the closing day.
