Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL) needs a Shariah Advisor for its Re-Takaful business, on a two-year contract (extendable by mutual agreement and Board approval). One post. Closing date: 5 October 2026.

Who qualifies

• Shahadat ul Aalamiyyah (Dars-e-Nizami) from a recognised Board of Madaris and an HEC-recognised bachelor's degree (at least second class), with at least four years of issuing Shariah rulings in Fiqh ul Muamalat and knowledge of Islamic finance and Takaful; or a postgraduate degree in Islamic jurisprudence, Usooluddin or LLM (Shariah) with a Takaful certificate.
• At least seven years as a Shariah Advisor in the Takaful industry, good English and knowledge of Pakistani law.
• Maximum age 55 on the closing date, with no relaxation.
• Preference for those who have taught Islamic finance or hold an MPhil or PhD in it.
