Honda BR-V discontinued in Pakistan after nine years as sales fall to 25 to 50 a month

Honda Atlas Cars has stopped making the Honda BR-V in Pakistan, nine years after launching it in April 2017. A senior Honda Atlas executive told Dawn on 30 September 2026 that the seven-seater "has completed its lifecycle, and that's why its production has been halted." The BR-V has also been taken off Honda Pakistan's website, and the company confirmed to PakWheels that it is no longer offered. Honda has not announced a replacement.

Why the BR-V went

Sales had collapsed. Honda Atlas produced only 25 to 50 units a month of the BR-V recently, Dawn reported. Figures the company reports for the BR-V and HR-V together show the drop:

• July to August 2026: 120 units produced, 191 sold.
• July to August 2025: 1,460 produced, 731 sold.

Dawn linked the fall to competition from Chinese and Korean crossovers, particularly hybrid and electric models, which have pulled family SUV buyers away.

If you own a BR-V or wanted one

• Owners: Honda has not said anything yet about warranty or spare parts for the BR-V (a 1.5-litre i-VTEC car). If yours is still under warranty, ask your Honda dealer to confirm in writing how claims and parts will be handled.
• Resale: a discontinued model usually trades at a discount over time. If you plan to sell in the next year, it may pay to sell sooner.
