Islamabad to Quetta and Lahore to Quetta flights: Airblue starts direct routes on 26 October

Airblue will fly Islamabad to Quetta and Lahore to Quetta direct from 26 October 2026, adding Balochistan's capital to its domestic network, as first reported by ProPakistani. Bookings are already open.
For travellers searching for an Islamabad to Quetta flight or a Lahore to Quetta flight, this adds a private-airline option on two routes that have had few direct choices.

Fares were not announced. Domestic fares in Pakistan move with demand and the date you book, so check the price on several days before you pay, and book early for the opening weeks, when seats on a new route are limited.
Why it matters
Quetta is far from both cities by road, and the new services give travellers from the north and Punjab a direct private-airline option. The aviation research group CAPA has also listed Airblue's Lahore-Quetta service as starting in October 2026.
