NADRA juvenile card requirements: for a child's first Juvenile Card, a parent or legal guardian needs their own CNIC, the child's B-Form (or the CRMS number from a computerised birth certificate), biometric verification, and the child present in person, NADRA has said, as ProPakistani reported.

The Juvenile Card is NADRA's photo identity card for children under 18.

Checklist for a child born in Pakistan

  1. The CNIC number of a parent or legal guardian.
  2. The child's B-Form, if one has been issued, or the CRMS number printed on the child's computerised birth certificate from the union council.
  3. The birth certificate must be verified in NADRA's system. If your union council issued a handwritten or old-format certificate, get the computerised one first.
  4. Biometric verification of the parent or guardian at the counter.
  5. The child in person, since NADRA records the child's details at the counter.

Children born abroad

Bring one of these instead of a Pakistani birth record:

  • a detailed foreign birth certificate,
  • an S1 form, or
  • a citizenship or naturalisation certificate.

Where to apply

Go to the nearest NADRA Registration Centre with all the papers. NADRA advises completing the documents before the visit, since a missing paper means a second trip.

Fees and delivery

NADRA did not give fees in this advisory. Fees depend on whether you choose normal, urgent or executive delivery; work out yours with our NADRA fee calculator before you go. NADRA centres now take almost all payments digitally, so carry a debit card or a mobile wallet.

Common mistakes

  • Arriving without the child: the application cannot be started.
  • Bringing only a hospital birth slip: NADRA needs the union council's computerised certificate or an existing B-Form.
  • A guardian who is not a parent should carry proof of guardianship, such as a court guardianship certificate.

If your child will need a passport, the Juvenile Card or B-Form is the base document; see our passport fee guide.
