Bayern vs Arsenal at 12am Pakistan time Thursday: Olise banned, Neuer a doubt

Bayern vs Arsenal kicks off at 12am Pakistan time on Thursday 22 October (9pm Wednesday in Munich) at the Allianz Arena, and Real Madrid host RB Leipzig at the Bernabeu at the same moment, both on matchday 3 of the Champions League league phase, UEFA's fixture list shows. Bayern will be without Michael Olise, who is suspended. Fans in Pakistan can stream the competition on tapmad, which says on its own site that it carries the 2026-27 Champions League here.

Set the alarm for Wednesday night: both games start at midnight, so the second half runs to about 1:50am PKT. Tonight (Tuesday) it is PSG vs Barcelona, also at midnight.

Bayern vs Arsenal: team news

Olise is banned after collecting two yellow cards in Bayern's 3-3 draw away to Viking in Norway on matchday 2, Bulinews reported in a preview carried by Yahoo Sports. The same report says Jamal Musiala is still out with a thigh injury and Manuel Neuer is a doubt with a foot problem: he trained again on Monday and should start if there is no reaction, with Jonas Urbig ready to stand in. Neuer missed Saturday's 6-1 win over Leipzig with the same problem, Goal reported.

Arsenal's main absentee is William Saliba with a back problem, according to both Bulinews and Goal's preview, which expects David Raya in goal.

Form and the table

Results from UEFA; points from Goal's league-phase table, which has Arsenal 7th and Bayern 10th.

Arsenal have not conceded in Europe this season and come in off a late 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest (our report) that keeps them second in the Premier League, three points behind Manchester City. History favours the hosts: Bayern have lost only one of seven home games against Arsenal, winning five, Bulinews noted.

Real Madrid vs Leipzig

Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid have six points from two games, including a seven-goal win in Rome, and Goal lists them 8th. Martin Demichelis's Leipzig are 21st on three points and arrive four days after conceding six in Munich. Goal's preview puts the head-to-head at two Madrid wins, one draw and one Leipzig win in four meetings.
