It is the heaviest defeat in Croatia's history, World Soccer Talk reported, and the first time a World Cup finalist has lost by seven goals at home. Kane moved to 89 international goals, according to UEFA, and became the first player to score 10 or more goals for England in three different calendar years. "That was a 90-minute performance at the highest level from everyone," England coach Thomas Tuchel said.

Spain 3-1 Czechia

Lamine Yamal, Rodri and Mikel Merino scored for Spain, and Jiri Slama replied for Czechia. Spain are now unbeaten in 41 matches, UEFA said.

England's only defeat in the group is their opening game against Spain on 26 September. Croatia and Czechia trail the top two.

UEFA lists Matchday 4 kick-offs at 20:45 Central European time, which is 11:45pm in Pakistan:

England then play Croatia at home on Thursday 12 November and Spain away on Sunday 15 November; with the clocks back in Europe, both kick off at 12:45am Pakistan time, early on Friday 13 and Monday 16 November. Kane equals Peter Shilton's England caps record if he plays against Czechia, UEFA said. The quarter-finals are in March 2027 and the finals in June 2027.
