PPSC jobs 2026: Advertisement 11 has 299 posts, apply by 26 October

PPSC jobs 2026: the latest Punjab Public Service Commission advertisement is No. 11/2026, with 299 posts in seven departments. Applications close on Monday 26 October 2026 and are made online only at ppsc.gop.pk. The advertisement was published on 9 October, ProPakistani reported.

The biggest openings are for doctors: 107 Senior Registrar posts for specialist doctors in Punjab's teaching hospitals, and 101 veterinary posts across the two livestock lines. Our job board has the details, eligibility and test pattern for each:

PPSC Advertisement No. 10/2026 (closed 5 October)

Advertisement 10 had 1,992 posts, almost all of them nurses, ProPakistani reported.

How to apply for PPSC jobs

1. Read the advertisement on ppsc.gop.pk for your post: qualification, age limit, domicile, experience, professional registration and the test syllabus.
2. Create or log in to your PPSC account and fill in the online form.
3. Pay the fee through an ATM, internet or mobile banking, a 1Link member bank branch, JazzCash, Easypaisa or UPaisa.
4. Government employees apply through their department with an NOC.
5. If you claim an equivalent qualification, get the equivalence certificate first.

Most posts have a written test: a 100-mark multiple-choice paper in 90 minutes for the posts we have checked.

Before you apply

• Work out your age on the closing date with our age calculator; PPSC counts age on the last date of the advertisement.
• Check your degree's CGPA conversion with the CGPA calculator if the post asks for a percentage.
• Pay only on PPSC's own portal. Agents and WhatsApp groups that promise a post for money are fraud.

The Punjab Public Service Commission has issued Advertisement No. 10/2026 with 1,992 posts across three departments. The closing date is 5 October 2026 and applications go through www.ppsc.gop.pk only.

Almost the whole advertisement is one cadre: 1,958 Charge Nurse (Female) posts in BS-16. This is one of the largest single nursing recruitments Punjab has run.

The posts

Charge Nurse: who qualifies

You need either a four-year B.Sc. Nursing degree or a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, and in both cases a valid Pakistan Nursing Council registration. Candidates from government institutions are given preference.

The age limit for female candidates is 21 to 28 years, with relaxation available up to 36 years. Transgender candidates' age is taken from the CNIC. Domicile of any district of Punjab is accepted.

The 1,958 posts break down as 1,801 on open merit, 98 on the minority quota and 59 on the special persons quota.

The other three cadres

Assistant Director (Engineering) needs a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering plus a valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration. Assistant Director (Town Planning) needs a B.Sc. in City and Regional Planning. Veterinary Officer needs a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council registration.

How the selection works

Where a written test is held, it is a one-paper MCQ exam of 100 marks in 90 minutes, based on the qualification for the post. Shortlisted candidates then go to interview before the Commission.

Mistakes that cost people the application

Apply online at www.ppsc.gop.pk and nowhere else. PPSC does not accept applications by post or through any agent or aggregator site.

Get your PNC, PEC or PVMC registration renewed before you apply, not after. An expired council registration on the closing date is the single most common reason nursing and engineering applications are rejected at scrutiny.

Pay the challan fee inside the window and keep the paid copy. Upload a clear CNIC and the exact degree or diploma the advertisement names.
