SPSC jobs 2026: CCE reopened until 11 November, Advertisement 05 with 54 posts closed

Updated Thursday 29 October 2026, 12:45pm PKT. The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has one advertisement open right now: the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE-2026), reopened under Advertisement 06/2026 with a new closing date of 11 November 2026. That is 13 days from today. The last general recruitment round, Advertisement 05/2026 (54 posts in five departments), closed on 23 October. This page lists every SPSC jobs 2026 advertisement, newest first, straight from the commission's advertisements page, and we update it the day a new one appears.

Open now: CCE-2026 (Advertisement 06/2026)

After a Sindh cabinet decision on 20 October, SPSC changed the CCE-2026 terms set in August. What the 23 October advertisement says:

1. Upper age limit 33 years, worked out on 11 November 2026 (it was 30 on 1 September). The lower limit stays at 21. Check yours with our age calculator.
2. Five attempts are now allowed for a period of three years, instead of three.
3. Screening test pass mark 33% (66 marks), with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. The August advertisement had set 40% (80 marks).
4. Already applied? Do not apply again. Your application stands and will be processed under the new terms, and you can upload missing documents or fix mistakes on the portal until 11 November.
5. New applicants who now qualify, or who missed the September deadline, apply online by 11 November.

Everything else in Advertisement 04/2026 still applies: Sindh domicile and PRC, at least a second-division bachelor's degree, a Rs 1,000 fee paid by PSID challan, and exam centres in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana. Screening test and written exam dates are on our CCE 2026 living page.

How to apply for SPSC jobs online

1. Register on the SPSC candidate portal at spsc.gov.pk/candidate_portal. Manual forms are not accepted.
2. Find the post under "Available Jobs" and fill in the form. Enter your CNIC number and date of birth exactly: SPSC rejects applications with a wrong entry.
3. Generate a PSID and pay the challan (Rs 1,000 for CCE, Rs 500 for Advertisement 05/2026) through any online banking or wallet channel under the "1Bill invoice" option. One challan covers all quota categories of one post.
4. Upload documents you hold on the closing date: degree, domicile, PRC (Form-D) and experience certificates.
5. Submit before 5:00pm on the closing date. The portal runs round the clock except on the last day, when it shuts at office closing time.

Mistakes that cost candidates the post

• Changing details after closing: domicile, PRC, urban or rural quota, age, qualification, experience and exam centre cannot be changed once the closing date passes.
• Qualification gained late: degrees and experience must be held on the closing date; experience counts from the date you got the minimum qualification.
• Government employees applying directly: serving candidates must apply through proper channel.
• Assuming general age relaxation covers CCE: Sindh's general age relaxation does not apply to CCE posts or the police service, which is why the cabinet raised the CCE limit itself.
• Disability assistance asked late: candidates who need help in a written test must tell SPSC in writing at least seven days before the exam.
