ONE Samurai 4 results: Haggerty stops Akimoto in round 3, Nadaka keeps his Muay Thai title

Jonathan Haggerty kept the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title on Saturday 17 October 2026, stopping Japan's Hiroki Akimoto by TKO in the third round of the ONE Samurai 4 main event at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, according to the results on ONE Championship's event page. In the co-main event, Nadaka Yoshinari defended the ONE atomweight Muay Thai title with a second-round TKO of Malaysia's Rifdean Masdor.

Tokyo is four hours ahead of Pakistan, so the event took place on Saturday Pakistan time.

Haggerty vs Akimoto: the title stays in Britain

ONE billed the fight as Haggerty's third defence of the kickboxing belt. Akimoto, a former champion in the division, lost the title four years ago and was fighting for it in front of a home crowd. The Briton finished him in round three, ONE's results show. ONE has not yet published the time of the stoppage on its event page.

Nadaka extends his streak

Nadaka came into the fight on a 42-bout winning streak, according to ONE, and added to it with a second-round TKO.

The upsets and the finishes

Japan's Yuki Yoza went the distance with Nabil Anane and lost a unanimous decision, while Masaaki Noiri needed a split decision to get past Iran's Mohammad Siasarani. Five fights ended inside the first two rounds, including first-round finishes for Kota Abe, Ryoto Nishiyama and the grappler Masaki Takeura.

ONE had also scheduled a Hall of Fame ceremony at the event for Takeru Segawa, the three-division K-1 champion and ONE interim flyweight kickboxing world champion, according to its preview.
