Jena Bishop is the new PFL women's flyweight champion. She beat Liz Carmouche by unanimous decision, 48-47 on all three official scorecards, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Friday night (Saturday morning in Pakistan), Sherdog reported.

It was a rematch with a score to settle. Carmouche had stopped Bishop in the third round at the PFL World Tournament finals in August 2025. This time Carmouche, now 26-9, had the better of the opening round, and all three of Sherdog's unofficial cards scored it 10-8 for her. Bishop, who moves to 12-3, answered with her grappling and controlled the four rounds that followed, enough to take the vacant belt by a single point on every card.

Khizriev stays unbeaten, but only just

In the co-main event, Russia's Timur Khizriev went to 19-0 with a split decision over Brazil's Gabriel Braga (17-4). One judge scored it 29-28 for Braga and two had it 29-28 for Khizriev. All three of Sherdog's unofficial cards had Braga winning 29-28, so expect Braga's team to ask for a rematch.
