Argentina beat Burkina Faso 7-0 in an international friendly at the Estadio Mas Monumental in Buenos Aires. The match kicked off at 5:00 am Pakistan time on Sunday, 4 October (8:00 pm Saturday in New York), which is why "Argentina vs Burkina Faso" was one of the most searched phrases in Pakistan this morning, with more than 20,000 Google searches.
Lionel Messi did not play. He has been named only for Argentina's last match of this international window, his farewell against Benin, which kicks off at 4:00 am Pakistan time on Wednesday, 7 October.
