Apple 'Pro and tell' event on 28 October at 10pm Pakistan time: touchscreen MacBook Pro expected
Apple has called its second launch of the month for Wednesday 28 October in Los Angeles. Reports point to OLED, touch-screen MacBook Pros and a new iPad mini.
Apple has announced a special event called "Pro and tell" for Wednesday, 28 October, starting at 10am Pacific time, which is 10pm Pakistan time (PKT), 9to5Mac reported from Apple's invitation. The event is in Los Angeles.
It is Apple's second launch this month after the 13 October "Welcome home" event in New York, which brought the HomeView smart display, HomePod mini 2 and a new Apple TV 4K.
What Apple is expected to show
Apple has not said what it will launch. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, as cited by 9to5Mac, expects:
- 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with a touchscreen, the first touch Mac, with OLED displays, a Dynamic Island and a much lighter body, on M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
- A new iPad mini with an OLED screen, better speakers and a moved FaceTime camera.
- A new iMac and entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip, looking much like today's models.
The "Pro" in the event name fits the MacBook Pro reports, but treat the list as expected, not confirmed, until Apple shows it on stage.
