Honda CG 150 up Rs 10,000 to Rs 459,900, rest of the Atlas Honda range holds

Atlas Honda has raised the price of the CG 150 by Rs 10,000, to Rs 459,900. Every other model on the company's official price list is unchanged.

We check the makers' own pages daily. Yesterday the CG 150 was listed at Rs 449,900; today it is Rs 459,900. Nothing else in the Honda range moved.

What the CG 150 is

A 149.2cc four-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled engine with a five-speed box, self and kick start, and an 11.4-litre tank. It comes in green, red and a two-tone finish.

At Rs 459,900 it now sits Rs 40,000 below the CB 150F and Rs 63,000 above the CB 125F. That middle position is the one the price rise squeezes: the gap up to the CB 150F has narrowed, which matters if you were choosing between them.

What it costs to run

Petrol is Rs 390.79 a litre today. Filling the CG 150's 11.4-litre tank from empty costs about Rs 4,455. A rider covering 40km a day on a 150 will spend meaningfully more per month than the same rider on a CD 70, which is the trade for the extra power.

If you are buying

Prices on bikes in Pakistan move upward in small steps rather than in announced rounds, so a Rs 10,000 rise on one model with the rest held is the normal pattern, not a sign of a general increase coming. If you have a booking at the old price, confirm in writing what price your delivery will be invoiced at, since dealers generally invoice at the price on the delivery date, not the booking date.
