Ballon d'Or 2026 time in Pakistan: 1am Tuesday from London, Kane and Yamal favourites
The 70th Ballon d'Or is at the London Palladium tonight, the first outside Paris. With UK clocks back an hour, it starts at 1am PKT.

The 2026 Ballon d'Or will be handed out tonight, Monday 26 October, at the London Palladium, with the ceremony starting at 8pm UK time: that is 1am on Tuesday 27 October in Pakistan. It is the 70th Ballon d'Or and the first ever held outside Paris, Sports Mole reported.
Britain moved its clocks back an hour on Sunday, so the UK is now five hours behind Pakistan, not four. Plan for a late night.
Ballon d'Or 2026 time in Pakistan
| UK (GMT) | Pakistan (PKT) | |
|---|---|---|
| Red carpet and pre-show stream | about 6pm Monday | about 11pm Monday |
| Ceremony starts | 8pm Monday | 1am Tuesday |

Who is favourite
Sports Mole names Harry Kane (Bayern Munich and England) and Lamine Yamal (Barcelona and Spain) as the two clear favourites, with Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid the main challenger. Mbappe's case got a late push overnight: he scored both goals in Real Madrid's 2-1 Clasico win at Camp Nou, though voting covers the 2025-26 season, not this one.
The 30 nominees
The shortlist, as published by Sports Illustrated, is heavy with Paris Saint-Germain players after their season: Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Joao Neves, Willian Pacho, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha.
The others are Jude Bellingham, Pau Cubarsi, Marc Cucurella, Luis Diaz, Bruno Fernandes, Gabriel, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal, Sadio Mane, Lautaro Martinez, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Michael Olise, Julian Quinones, Declan Rice, Rodri, William Saliba, Ferran Torres, Dayot Upamecano and Vinicius Junior.
Why London
Organisers moved the ceremony to England as a tribute to Sir Stanley Matthews, the Blackpool and England winger who won the first Ballon d'Or in 1956.
How to watch
Sports Mole says the official Ballon d'Or website streams the ceremony live, and DAZN shows it in the UK. No Pakistani TV channel has announced coverage, so the official stream is the safe option; avoid pirate links that ask for card details or app installs.
We will publish the winner as soon as it is announced. For the rest of the week's football, cricket and F1, see our sports page.
