It is the West Indies' highest successful chase in ODI history and their first ODI win over India since 2023, though India had already taken the India vs West Indies series and finish it 2-1.

How Hope did it
Hope kept wicket for all 50 overs of India's innings and then batted through the chase, hitting 17 fours and 3 sixes, Telangana Today reported. Jangoo's 67 kept the required rate in reach in the middle overs, and Keemo Paul's 44 off 35 took the game away from India at the end.

- West Indies are only the third team to chase 350 or more against India in ODIs, after Australia (359 in 2019) and South Africa (359 in 2025).

Rahul's unbeaten 129 came off 87 balls with 10 fours and 6 sixes, and Rohit Sharma's 92 took him past 10,000 ODI runs as an opener in 202 innings, quicker than Sachin Tendulkar's 214, NewsBytes reported. After the match, Shubman Gill said India's fielding and death bowling needed to improve, ESPNcricinfo reported.
